UiTM and 10%

Ever since the suggestion made by Selangor Chief Minister Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim to allow the enrolment of non-bumiputras by 10% into UiTM, the mainstream media had not stop propagating the issue like a fire alarm.

First of all, the idea of this “10%” is only a suggestion. But the seriousness and the tension portrayed by the UiTM student did not equate with the repercussion of negativity. I personally do not see the point of gathering and the march of the protest towards the Chief Minister’s idealistic suggestion.

But think of the bright side, at least for now UiTm had done their most aggressive act since the establishment of UiTM. All this while, like a lifeless zombie, they are trapping themselves in their campus with ‘Ketuanan Melayu’ mindset while enjoying the tax money of all fellow Malaysians.
The bright side is; the issue of “10% UiTM allocation to Non-Bumis” had successfully lifted up the coconut shell to allow the frogs of UiTM to come out.

They should demonstrate more often. Perhaps, the next time, they will gather, march and demonstrate for a better and right reason.
