So, we went all the way from Penang to Universiti Malaya for a Floorball Competition. Chris, Justin, Mervin, Sarah THE COACH, and me were pretty much anxious about it. Pretty worried that we will kena Thrash by PROS. 5 of us, cramped into Chris' beloved Proton Saga with the "back to the future" antena http://vomitingsoul.blogspot.com/2006/10/aerial.html . To me, the highlight of the entire trip and stay was not the competition BUT the food!
We stop by at Ipoh. We went to Justin's house (didn't know that his house is so near with my grandma's house). His mother served us Special Barley Soup, Oyster Porridge and Tuna Bun. yummy!
We reached Chirs' House at around 8pm (I think). His parents treat us makan in a restaurant - very sedap: Fresh Water Fish with Tom Yam Gravy, Sambal Kang Kung, Fried Yam with Mix Vege, Fried Egg with Onions and Prawns, Sizzling Tauhu with Mince Meat and finally Kiam Hu Tau Geh... Wow.... (drooling...) now i'm hungry already.
The next day, we woke up early to do our devotion before we go for the competition, and guess what's on the table... Grill Sausages and Fried Omelette serve with choices of Milo, Fresh Milk and Hot Tea.... Wa!!!! Breakfast Ala AMERICAN.
After the competition was over Chris' Mom and Dad came and invite us for lunch. Where? YIT POH KAI FAN!!!!! (IPOH CHICKEN RICE) We did not only had chicken rice for luch BUT Meat Ball Soup, Roast Pork, BBQ Pork, Roast Chicken, Steam Chicken, Steam Taugeh, Gulai Masak Lemak and finally Fresh Papaya, Watermelon and Pineapple. Wah Lau-eh...! No word can describe my feeling... (tears flow down...too happy)
If you think all we had is solid food... you are so wrong! We got Spiritual Food also. Sarah got a RBC Tract on HOW TO BUILD A STRONG MARRIAGE. She recomended the guys a tract about HOW TO BECOME A REAL MAN.... (we look sissy meh?)
Before we left for Penang, his parents asked us where we wanna go for dinner. So, we thought our journey here will not be complete without BURGER KING!!!!!! We had Black Pepper Whooper and Many other types of WHOOOOOPER-lah! We felt like Kings and Queen (for sarah) on our way back to Penang.
The next morning when I woke up and getting ready for class, my stomach let out a light purr like a poor cat. Immedietly i was reminded of my KL trip. I look at my tummy....patted it and said... "I know tummy.... I know...." and smiled at it and went to class with an empty belly.
P.S: By the Way Chris, You got a nice CRIB and your family ROCKS!!! ADOPT ME PLEASE!!!!! j/k.
