Drinking... for a reason.

Alcohol Drink - Beer, wine, tuak, sake and etc... These are some of the beverages i rasa malu to drink infront of my church senior members / leaders. Most religion had already labelled these things to be the path towards destruction. Smoking is one of them. So, drinking alcohol beverages will somehow make me feel uneasy infront of church people. There's a certain feeling of GUILT arise in me.
But last saturday was a special day. Wedding Dinner! Alcohol drinks is a must in every wedding... except for muslim wedding.
It's a celebration! Happy! YAAAAAAAM...... SENG>>>>! Don't expect me to yam seng (cheers) with Sky juice or Sarsi or Orange Juice. It's gotta be alcohol drink. No respect to my newly wedded friend if i drink ice water only. That time i was sitting with my senior Officer and some senior chuch members so i was abit doubtful to even say "yes" to the waiter when he asked me if i wanted beer or whiskey. But when it comes to the toasting ceremony... i secretly went outside to meet waiter and asked for a mug of beer. It feels good after the toast and drink.
I'm not a drinker (like Homer Simpson: hmmm... Duff Beer~~~.). I'm more like an "occasion drinker", like weddings. After that wedding dinner, i didn't felt that guilty at all... or should say sinful after drinking that mug of beer... i went back home that night thinking about the story in the Bible: Wedding at canna.... Jesus turning water into wine.

But Drink Responsibly... and humbly :-)
