BUTTER-can't-FLY

I name this photo "BUTTER-can't-FLY".

It came into my room one fine night. It hangs on the wall and decided not to move till the next morning. The next day, curiously, i touched it and it drop to the floor. It died. But it's so beautiful. So i decided to pin it on my notice board. Still fresh... i felt the juice in it as i pierced the sharpening pin into it's abdomen... BLEK! It was good. I took one step back and gave a good look. i said "Somethings are better off DEAD".

The next day, i woke up to see it was cover with ants. And to my bejeesus shockness! The head was gone. It's wings starting to crack. There's nothing i can do. I can't get formalin, even if i could, i wouldn't want to apply on it, because right below the notice board is my table where i put my food and my cup of coffee.

I gave it a very last look. I took one step backward again. Actually, what happened to it was natural - and it was beautiful. NATURAL IS BEAUTIFUL! The sight of it is juicing out gothic senses to me. It was and is a BEAUTIFUL LETDOWN. It's headless, broken wings, it's rotten and ultimately: IT IS DEAD!

I know this sight will not last. This deadness will soon past and becomes dust. I took my camera and snapped it. So that i can preserved it's death... eternally. "And let this be... BUTTER-can't-FLY" I proclaimed with a pride so high.

I gave it another look, and gave one thought - DEATH MIGHT AS WELL BE AN ART, IF NOT, IT'S A WASTE.

I smiled... and swithced off the light.

Inspired by Edgar Allen Poe's writing.
